Does the game benefit at all from PS5 hardware?

Postby Nicky Gi. » 12 Oct 2026, 22:36

The game has a native PS4 version but I wonder, does the game benefit at all from the better PS5 CPU, GPU, the more RAM and the faster SSD?

Does it make a difference saving the game on my internal PS5 M.2 SSD or on an external HDD connected with my console?

Hello,

yes, everything faster is faster for the game as well, but the game cannot use more RAM than the PS4 Pro (which sucks big time ; on Xbox, the game has access to all the modern consoles' RAM).

So as I can understand, it takes advantage of everything except the RAM?

almost ; it doesn't handle the PS5 special controls either.

The audience and ambient sound cuts out regularly on a PS5. No dropouts on a steamdeck.
