hey guys
this is key to make my scoreboard work:
add this line at the top of all_hud.def

Font Default HugeChars 14 18 0xFFFFFFFF 0 Circle Center Center

if you don't add this, the newport scoreboard (maybe others) will become yellow...
thanks to maxou and manutoo which posted/solved the problem a few years ago in the verified modders forum!
