I'm facing heavy issues with Online Tournaments in TE4
I'm not able to play normal rallies as I get "Desynchronization detected... resynchronization completed!" message popping up from time to time. The rally is breaking at random moment and then starting again. Sometimes I'm able to play it until the end but it is quite random. Sometimes my opponent is not able to serve at all due to this error popping up all the time.

In the previous tournament I was playing with Jira and to temporarily fix this and be able to finish the game, we changed all our animations to deafult. We were able to end our game although from time to time the rallies were still breaking.

I tried to reinstall the app, reinstall the mods (i use only xkt and scoreboards), my connection is stable, my device is 1year old and it should not cause any issues.

Does anyone have any idea what is the issue and would be so kind to help me on this? I would love to participate the online tournaments but this is blocking me.

Hello,

are you playing on Wifi or LAN ? If Wifi, try switching to LAN if possible.

Could you manage to get a couple of desyncs and then send me a Bug Report right after ? (HowTo => topic5-31732.php )

If not, just send me a Bug Report from the Main Menu for a starter.

I would like to communicte the issue is resolved...accidentally. In my case the solution was to turn off the audience completely.

There's a very low chance that the crowd actually had a role in that. Did you try to turn it on again in the same game session to see if the desyncs came back ?

Yes, I guess.
Just yetsreday I turned it on before the game and my opponent was not able to serve due to resync issue. After I turned it off, the problem was immediately solved.

How do you turn it off ? In Settings -> Video -> Advanced -> Near & Far Crowd Density ?

Hello, I have the same problem

Every time I try to play online, I get repeated synchronization/desynchronization messages. Then my player starts bugging: when I try to move, he is automatically pulled back to the center of the court, and I can't serve at all. My opponent often can't serve either.

The only mods I have installed are EasyKT and Scoreboard. Both are updated to the latest versions. I also tried:

- Updating the mods
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the mods
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the game completely


After reinstalling the game, I managed to play one game online, but only because my opponent was serving first. As soon as it became my turn to serve in the second game, the issue came back and I couldn't serve anymore.

Do you have any idea what could be causing this problem or how I could fix it?

1) Could you try to play online without any Mod ? (ask someone to disable all his Mods as well)

2) If it's not alright, send me a Bug Report right after a couple of desyncs. (HowTo => topic5-31732.php )

3) If it's alright, then go back to the XKT and change your player service to the "02" one. If it works, then it's an issue with the Modded serve you had.

so your issue was with a service in the XKT Mod, right ? Could you report its name to the XKT Modders so they'll fix it (or remove it) ?

I've been having a similar problem since the last update but I can't figure out what it is. Me and my friend tried putting all animations just to the first one, but it keep desyncing every other hit :/

As said above, you can activate the Elite mode.
If you want to stay in Simulation and activate the Elite mode only for the CPU, add these 2 lines in your Tennis.ini, under [Controls] :
DiffX_CPUvsCPU = 1.25
Precision_CPUvsCPU = 0.75
(HowTo => topic19-32161.php )

If you want to tune the Elite controls both for you and the CPU, add these 2 lines in your Tennis.ini, under [Controls]
DiffX_Elite = 1.25
Precision_Elite = 0.75
and tune them to your liking.
Then switch to Simulation controls in your Character Sheet, then switch back to the Elite controls.

Higher DiffX => Harder ; lower Precision => Harder.
