[Double Handed Fearhand]

Hello.

I just got TE4 via steam and when starting the game up it freezes on the main menu, I've tried changing the mas fps to 60 from 144, 60Hz monitor refresh rate, windowed mode, force D11 but it's still the same. As soon as you go into the main menu it just freezes and has the "Not responding" warning but the TE4 music play, the tennis ball cursor freezes but I can use the desktop cursor fine. Also when trying to stop the game it hangs and lags and doesn't cease operation, task manager freezes when trying to "end task" and steam says it's stopping the tennis elbow 4.exe but it never actually ceases.

I have TE4 for the Series X but got TE4 for the PC to make it easier for me to mod, see the work ect.

Windows 11 build - 10.0.26200
GPU - RX 7900 GRE -
GPU driver - 32.0.11029.1008 - This is a driver from 2024 via the PowerColour site as it seems newer drivers make the card unstable

try the fullscreen mode, to see if it helps.

To do so, change this line in your Tennis.ini, under [Display], from :
Window = 1
to :
Window = 0

Thanks, it now works.

Basically I disabled full screen optimisations via the properties of the tennis elbow.exe, updating the graphics driver and enabled fullscreen mode.
