Hey guys, how are you doing?

Today I wanna talk about players grunts.

It hasn’t been working for me in the last couple days…

I mean, even when I select an option about their frequency, they’re not grunting at all. They just grunt when I select the “almost every shot” option.

When it’s on “also on accelerations”, “almost every difficult shot”, etc, they’re not grunting.

Idk if that’s a temporary bug or if it’s just happening with me, but would be nice if it could get fixed.

Hi. If you're using the ATP/WTA Patch, I recommend always using the "All Rally Strikes" or "All Tought Strikes" option. Following the update, I configured grunt sounds to trigger only during specific actions—such as acceleration shots or service—so the sound plays exactly as I assigned it, regardless of your chosen setting. It adds to the realism.

Allow me to give a feedback:

I’ve tried it for a few more games, and it still doesn’t work very well. I’ve tried using Fonseca, Sabalenka, Fils, Raducanu, Danielle Collins, Gauff, etc.

That’s what I noticed:

In the option “almost every shot”, its working. The player do grunt almost everytime, like Sabalenka does, for example.

In the option “every though shot”, they just grunt when they need to run to the side to hit it, like a lose ball going out. But they don’t grunt on serves.

In the options “only on serves” and “also on accelerations”, they never grunt.

But it’s unrealistic using “almost every shot” to every player, because they’ll grunt every time, and some of them just grunt on accelerations when they’re going for a winner, or something like that, when they’re about to hit it hard.

Anyways, grunts are looking broken right now, unfortunately. Or idk, maybe the frequency of grunts are a bit broken.

In the ATP/WTA patch, I partially returned to the previous settings. Some grunt sounds work under new rules.
And most importantly, some sounds have been assigned to new rules, i.e., service shot and acceleration shot. Don't expect to hear every sound, for example, by using the "service-only" option.

I’ve tried it for some more games since yesterday, and it still a bit unrealistic.

I mean, Fonseca’s got better, he’s grunting in his accelerations like real life (with ‘also on accelerations’ option).

Buuut WTA grunts are a bit broken… I played a lot of games with Emma Raducanu and it’s not accurate. I mean, she grunts when “almost every shot” option is on. When the option “all though shots” is on, she grunts when she saves a ball going out. But differently than Fonseca’s, it’s not working with “also on accelerations” option…

Same thing with Svitolina. When I set their options to “also on accelerations”, they stay quiet for the whole match.

Most of the players grunt more when they’re accelerating the ball for a winner, on WTA but also on ATP.

Would be very cool to get it fixed for some players (specially WTA players) so it would get more realistic.

If possible, would be awesome to have more current WTA players grunts added as well, like Jaqueline Cristian, Linda Noskova, Marta Kostyuk, Eva Lys, Ashlyn Krueger, etc, and maybe some more variation to the already existing ones.

Another thing that could be great and realistic, if possible, would be adding players “sighs” too, during rallies, for example, when they dont grunt. Know what I mean?

Anyways, I’m just giving feedbacks to try to make the game the most realistic possible. I’m not criticizing anything, just giving my opinion. You guys make the game perfect and I can’t stop playing!

Today I updated my mods. Problem fixed. As for the new grunt sounds – they will appear regularly in the "Tennis Player Grunt Mod"

Hi all . Regarding this issue and others, I am a litle confused ! Sorry if I am not much of a techie ! I always update my mods every time. Please can you tell me if the patches I update will work on my current career or do I have to restart my career every time there is a new mod update ? It really is the most awesome tennis game ever ! Thankyou, Even though I am disabled I can still play the game and it gives me so much pleasure. Cheers !

if you use only the XKT Mod(s), you can update and go on your career. If you have other Mods, I don't know.
