srikrishnan,
each strike button activates the autopos.
You have the Danger Zone but not the Aiming Preview in Realistic Mode.

srikrishnan,
buy the game or play against people who have bought the game to remove the Trial time.
You can propose a rematch at the end of each match, as long as your opponent hasn't left the match summary screen.

Sorry for the thread necro, Manu, but if you take defender and 0% topspin, and you have time to prepare the topsin shot, how much topsin will your player generate assuming they have 100% across the board in forehand skill? Will it be the same as, for instance, a power baseliner with 50 - 60% topspin skill? Or someone like Nadal with 80%?

I like the topspin, especially on clay, and it can be effective against someone like Djokovic who chases relentlessly. But I also like my accelerations. LOL.

And if you take defender, and given that you said the volleyer style means you can jump higher for smashes, does the defender style mean your player can run faster to get to balls?

Snake Doctor ,
For the topspin strike, the maximum spin is always the same, but you need more or less time to charge it depending on your topspin skill and if you're a defender or not. A defender with 0% topspin will likely feel close of any other style with 30-45% topspin.

You can see all the style perks here : https://www.managames.com/tennis/doc/Ten ... html#style .

Hi manutoo,

First of all, I just want to say I'm absolutely loving Tennis Elbow.

I do have a question about the point rebalancing system you mentioned in this thread. You said we need to leave 772 points left (TE4) in the Character Sheet in Fair/Realistic Modes, otherwise the engine forces a rebalance.
My question is: if, for example, I set every skill to 100% (leaving 0 points left), how exactly does the engine rebalance the attributes to bring it back to 772 points left? Does it reduce all skills equally (proportionally), or does it reduce them randomly / following some other priority order?

Thanks in advance!

herbertsds,
it's proportional to the point cost.

Hi!
Overall i think its way too easy to hit big in this game. I think it should be much harder to hit inside the court if you go for the big hit, be it a big serve or a big forehand/backhand. So that we will get more players using regular strikes and topsin strikes more than just going all out with the big hits. Same can also be said about hitting touch shots like dropshots, sharp angles etc. It would be nice if a really good, low slice could be harder to counter aswell, because as it is now its too easy to just smack a winner off them. Also not a big fan of Auto positioning, maybe removing that could solve a bit with players being able to be in a great position to hit big all the time, as footwork and anticipation is so important in tennis it should be a skill not just given to players, but earned.

Just a few thoughts after playing online! Really like the game!

Hi!
Sure, but im talking generally across the board to make the game feel a bit more "real". Not just make it harder for myself while everyone else is playing on an easier setting.
